This week's prompt is:
wrong

Anyone can join, with a 50-word vignette in the comments. Your vignette does not have to include the prompt term.

My efforts:

My aunt appeared, looking smug.
"Good morning, Mr. Fitton, Charlotte-Rose." She moved over to the breakfast table. "I hope my niece will be a help, sir. She can keep an eye on the girls and ensure that nothing goes wrong."
"Oh, too late for that," he said, cheerfully. "They overslept."

The creature showed no reaction. He cursed his lack of knowledge. Fighting it all wrong, and getting himself killed to no avail.
It screamed. The air seemed to shake.
He attacked again. More blood flowed. It bucked like an earthquake.
He managed to slip down its side, rather than fall.

She drew a deep breath, thought she did not wish to say it wrong, and said, "I will start with the park, which is the first sign I had of anything out of the ordinary."
One of them gave a little snort of laughter, but they all listened, still staring.

"Of course," Hope said, gravely, "it's not as if there were not dangers the other way. If something went wrong with one of her medicines. She had a lot of warning notes about that."
And, she realized, she had put her foot wrong. He knew she had the recipes, now.
