The adventures continue!
And rather episodic they are. It opens with Monkey still working out the problem from his folly about the ginseng tree. But immediately after the T'ang monk gets into trouble through not listening to him, and Monkey has to come rescue him.
Monsters that want to eat the monk because that will grant longevity. Monsters that pose as Taoist monks and usurp the place of kings. Taoist monks that enslave Buddhist monks because they get rain for the king, and Monkey has to make himself a better rain-maker. And a lot more. Sometimes with the intervention of other beings, and sometimes a monster is snatched away from punishment because it was sent to do what it did for a purpose.
