Three birds taking flight as I drove by --
Great arced wings curving through the air -- the first bird white, the second black, the third white again. . . .
It took me a moment to think -- a gull, a crow, and another gull.
And there was an jellyfish out front. The sun had gnawed away under a icy top, so it spread wider than the column of snow holding it up, and icicles dripped off the edge -- when it snowed, so the top and the icicles were alike white against the grimy snow, it looked perfectly like a jellyfish.
