My efforts:
"That's a proud boast," said Arabella.
"Not very," I said. "One could admire our courage if we choose this to save the court at risk of our own safety, but this is for our protection as well as theirs."
Arabella glared.
"Also, we must be cautious, as their only chance."
She turned about, the spoon dripping. "Also of the proud boasts of proud knights. And worse wizards. They'll claim they can cure everything until you press them on it, and then they will be your enemies for life."
"How could a knight cure her?" said Halley.
"A quest for enchantment."
