The heroine knows something about a strange magic.
Two other characters at the spot know she knows something. One, in fact, was the person to tell her to hush it up.
The strange magic will cause more problems.
The question is when she alerts other people she trusts about it, because of the danger.
Possibly when she trusts them? But it is very dangerous, and she will feel guilty if keeping secrets harms them.
