I wish I still had the link... one of the Spanish Inquisition officials apparently chased a confessed "witch" around the room with a broom, yelling at him to turn into a (whatever, I want to say bat but don't think that's right) and escape if he could.... When he didn't, the Inquisition guy declared that he could not possibly be put to death as a witch because there was no evidence.
