To expand -- in Watchmen idiotic behavior often -- usually -- stemmed at least in part from invincible ignorance. Vincible ignorance is less valuable. Indeed, what is called "affected ignorance" is in aesthetics as in ethics an aggravating factor not an extenuating one.
