I'm trying to write a novel in vignettes. In fact, three novels. This is the SF one. Tristan would probably appreciate the abstract beauty more if he were in a better mood, and if the lights were not correlated with the disappearance of everyone on a large and thriving space station except him and three others -- and he and one of the others are still minors.
