winter reading

marycatelliA prince is in a snow-bound kingdom for the winter. He persuades its queen to let him do a lot of reading.
He's going to have to learn something. And it's going to have to be useful. Also, not particularly obvious, because it's not going to change his course of action for some time.
I think he's going to get some follow-up on the Puss-in-boots tale, which does not turn out as well for the nastier one. And possibly not for the fox, either.
But he's going to have to find something.
Perhaps it will emerge.
