About a hill stood the carts. He blinked. Still filled with food. He took a step toward it. It did not vanish. As if the fight would make it vanish.
Then he scrambled within, and started to stuff the food into the bag. Moments later, he blinked, and realized it was no heavier, and seemed no more full. His mouth set, he pushed in more and more. Perhaps it was eating it first, but he had to risk it. he would need food, with the distance before him, and better than he eat it than the necromancers, or the fires.
