quirks of color

I write my outlines and my longhand stories in gel pen.
Which means I write them in color. Which can get cool.
And I have, indeed, found that if I don't know which color to use I don't really have enough of a notion to outline the story yet. It needs more time to jell.
OTOH, when the story wants to be written in silver -- on white! -- it can be a little ridiculous. Such are the quirks of color.
The, I took it up when feeling dry, and it did help.
