Logically, as volume 1 ended with her stumbling into meeting the Hero in the Bewildering Woods. She recognizes him, blunders some in talking with him based on her knowledge, and gives him two vials from their shop.
It winds on. She talks with people from his villages, deduces someone else fights monsters, gets the silverberry she was after and returns home unaware of what happened after, though the book tells it, and she changed things again. (There's a little awkwardness in these two volume about the temporal sequence.)
More happens at home. The prince reappears, a rival in selling restorative vials, and more.
