When Chongu are first old enough to go to school, they generally still have their kitten fur, which takes the cute to a whole new level. They're like little puffballs of adorableness, with their big eyes and small ears. Even their high, piping voices seem designed to melt the heart.

However, they're already practicing their hunting skills, which makes minding the playground Interesting, to say the least. Most of their games involve stalking and pouncing, which can be a problem when their little playmates don't have the thick fur that protects them from being injured by a wayward claw.

Bernard looked sullen, and ready to break the mirror, but he did not move.
"Indeed, she might speak of how charming the doe is, and tell King Conrad that she wants to keep it as a pet."
Rosaline flinched.
"Then what can we do that will convince him?" said Donal.

"What is this nonsense?" said Diggory. "All this talk of seeing magic? A child's tale. If it were real, I would be able to see it."
Clara winced, and hid herself from sight.
"There you go," said Prince Aurelius. "She's gone."
"She's right there," said Diggory. "She hasn't even stood."
