A collection of Sir Pterry's -- well, I don't suppose you can call them juvenilia, since he was an adult at the time of the writing, but certainly his early work.

Later than those in the first two collections, and only discovered by accident, when someone realized that stories under a certain byline were very similar to Pratchett's work, and someone else pointed out that the byline's last name was his mother's maiden name.

Short, whimsical stories set in a variety of settings.

as time goes by

The hero is years older than he was last chapter.

Now, how to indicate it. He's grown taller and stronger, he's learned things about the village and towns about. . . and it's all in close third-person so that will be hard to infiltrate into the story.
