Done, done, done!  Got it up to 50,000 words!  With two minutes to spare, even!

Not more than a fifth of the way through the outline. . . I can't predict how long a story will be from the outline alone, but once I start writing, it's usually the same percentage of book to go as there is outline to go.  (Go figure.)  I may be perpetrating trilogy here.

And one disadvantage of pantsing your outlines, as in pantsing your work, is that you may realize, on second look, that you hadn't focused your notion yet in the opening.  There were a number of unclear things in the outline that needed working out, but that's life with the muse.

Also, Rosalyta is rather a different character than I had put as a POV character yet.  Might have been wiser to choose a different work, with a more familiar POV.  Ah, well, it wasn't as if I had had a profusion of outlines to run from.
