marycatelliSo it's all figured out. How the father got cursed, and it's a way that explains why it was the curse it was, and ties in with his other actions that complicate our heroine's life. . . .
So naturally the muse starts idly pointing out that the person who laid the curse needs to have some kind of relationship with the heroine's big problem in this story -- definitely thematically, probably in terms of cause and effect.
And that his other actions need to be played up so the information can be lost in them.
Which raises the question of whether it's better to return to the beginning now and restructure, or finish this draft and go back. . . .
