Date: 2009-11-09 12:53 am (UTC)Except that where I sit, I can see one of the many pin-oaks I planted 'round the property. Not to mention the hemlock, fir, spruce, etc.
Pinoaks pretty much hang onto their leaves until spring :-)
Perhaps it's just easier to love autumn and the wind blowing, and the rain and the dead leaves like a blanket when so much remains green and leaf (or needle) clad.
