So someone conjured up a dragon. Several dragons. To protect temples and important people and important treasures. . . . (from lizards or from humans or from thin air -- hardly matters)
One day one or more started to get jealous and possessive. I don't knwo whether it was first a princess, or first gold or other treasure, but that's where things started to go to pot.
This is a corrupt and decadent age. . . all the dragons have succumbed here and there. . .O
One day I may even write a story in this setting.
