Opinions on a pair of covers solicited. The story is set in a 19th-century-ish world, and features a lady who's given some trouble by the -- ehem -- Good Folk. Which do you like better?
The second one is a nice picture, but it doesn't tell much about the contents of the book. The first one seems more on-topic... but the quality is horrible and if you don't have a higher-resolution version, should not be used.
On the 1st cover, the blurry glow around the letters looks rather ugly in my opinion. I suggest finding some other way of emphasizing them. And on the 2nd cover, the major problem is how the title gets way too close to the poor lady, as if she was being stabbed with it.
