My efforts:

At least he saw no more pageantry. No more admonishments about virtue, no more overwrought hymns to the princess's beauty and virtue, no more pompous declamations on the peace and unity this wedding would bring.
It took him a few strides up the street to see how much less light it also had.

She felt keenly aware that her parents would unite in fury if they found her up here. "I wish you could make me invisible, so I could get away."
Rose-Lily looked at her.
"Or you could make yourself invisible, and come down."
Rose-Lily sighed. "I wish I could."
One month.

"I could do it now, or after I finish planting," said Hope. "I refuse to unite work and food."
The sheriff laughed. "I'll treat you at the Daisy Chain."
Which was a pleasant little restaurant, even if all the flowers were painted on the walls, and the picket-fence about the outside tables.
