The wind howls, the wind rages about -- hmm --
Exactly how much of this will my characters hear in the center of the building, on the bottom floor?
Enough to make it plausible that they huddle together and talk because it's too much of a distraction to talk? (That is, once I figure out how to get the fifth character to take herself out of the conversation with a huff?)
Or perhaps they can just be agitated. And idiotic enough to look at the view of the storm, which is enough to unnerve anyone.
(And after I went and figured out what the last character would have gotten for a book. 0:)
