I need some fairy tales

marycatelliBut pretty precise ones. Fairy tales that would come to the attention of a royal court without anyone at the court getting too deeply involved.
Since the usual place of the royal court is to produce the bride/bridegroom, this is kind of limiting.
I think I shall have to review my fairy tale books to find some good ones.
At the moment, their sole purpose is to kill some time before the hero and the heroine are send packing in opposite directions in their own fairy tale. But that probably won't last once they appear; such tales tend to sprout influence.
Hmm. I think I shall have the hero tell the hero the story of his ancestress who had serious in-law troubles, in part because her husband hid her existence from his wife. It certainly fits some themes in the story.
