curses!

Start out with the idea of a humorous story turning about a castle with a lot of curses. . .

Realize you have to invent curses.

One's going to involve transformed horses and stable-master. One will involve something in the cellar getting out. But others. . . especially given they can't to be too serious. . .

Probably going to raid some legends and fairy tales. Give someone a long nose, perhaps

Of course there are some 'curses' I'd *like* to be 'afflicted' with... of course it (almost?) never works out that way. The centaur transforms, if any, never happen to the one who would be alright with it, etc.

Amazing how the cursers never cut corners on making sure it's actually a curse.
