No, what is happening is that it dances merrily away to races. Not even a pure human world: there are beastmen about. And giants. And -- perhaps elementals, though I am not sure about that one. But certainly none of the rest of the standard five, and very few of the humanoid races if any.
Dragons and others I'm not sure of. But I'm going to remember the medium shift: there is certainly going to be a decline in the numbers and types for the sake of unity.
Meanwhile the plot bunny is whispering about how they could have philosophical debates about whether beastmen are men made bestial or beasts made mannish.
