marycatelliAll stories need outlines because otherwise they peter out in the middle. (sometimes they peter out in the outline, which is less frustrating.)
They often put out subplot sprouts and some complications in the writing.
Sometimes they extend themselves or need a reworking in some sections.
But this one is cheerfully multiplying incidents in the middle until I think half the story didn't appear in the outline.
