dithering and openings

Mind you, I have her face a problem on the first page and get stuck with some work (which I immediately foreshadow may have implications) on the second. Still hitting the implications is going to be on at least the sixth page.
Some of the stuff is world-building, but only some of it establishes how out of place she is. I may just be having too much fun. This is seldom as interesting to the reader as to the writer.
Push it off to revision, I suspect.
Still do have decide how her parents died. When she was too young to remember them. . . .
