How can I tell people that the prince in this story is evil?   Have him kill his father?

Have me racking my memory for a story where a prince, however evil, kills  his father?  

Brothers they will kill with great glee.  Kings can be killed, less frequently, but often enough, just not by their sons.  I threw together some stories of deaths, and then the princess managed to derail the issue by discussing how one is unlikely:  a king seeking to give his son a stepmother?  Lots of bad tales about that.

And then in the next scene, the tales get rebutted.  So it doesn't actually tell how evil he is.  Just how evil everyone already thought him.  Ah, well.
