I think I'm going to have to change a couple of names.

Something to note when selecting names:  will your point of view character consistently think of them with a title?  'cause if so, you need to watch for how they work together.

In this story I was humming along until I realized that too much alliteration would draw attention to itself.  Given my limited cast of characters, maybe I could have gotten away with, say, "Miss Masters" or "Lady Linnet," but having half your named characters alliterate is -- too much.

Alliteration is easier to get away with in prose than rhyming is, and can produce some neat stylistic effects, but can be overdone.  Like, say, once or twice every paragraph for long passages.

Dominic Deegan, #0001 (http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2002-05-21).

Starting you at the beginning so you can waste that much more of your life. If you ever played D&D or any other fantasy RPG, liked fantasy in general, or have a cynic yet optimistic side that needs indulging every now and then... you should enjoy it. ^^

(but the tl;dr version is: "Not really" & "often just 'Dominic'")

Perhaps this strip (http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2003-03-12) is more illuminating.

Such recaps occur semi-regularly. ^^
