The Monster in the Maze

So the heroine and companions are set in a -- sorta maze.  Sorta because it's all a regular thing of corridors and courtyards, all neatly arranged in rectangles -- all the same as each other, without a single sign or a person to talk to -- and vanishing off into the distance.
