So -- should the heroine be able to see celestial bodies after she's been carried off?

Her location is such that you can't count on anything from Euclidean geography onward.  Water flowing uphill, trees that move -- etcetera, etcetera.

Still, moving the effect up to the skies seems -- a bit far-ranging.  On the other hand, if she can see the sky looking normal, it would have effects of its own.

To be sure, having the lands heavily overcast -- without rain, perhaps with thunder -- would clear up that without many problems.  It would also fit the mood of those places.  Especially if they are lowering, and help make the landscape feel closed in.

And as soon as I got that set and straightened out, my muse started to play with the notion of a bloody red moon moving over a battlefield. . . .

sigh At least I will have the consolation of knowing it could be caused by atmospheric conditions.

interesting

I've never heard the term Euclidian geography before. Wikepedia does allude to it though.
