researching spring

marycatelliI think I'm going to dillydally on a story a bit.
I've got other ones in the works, but this one takes place in spring. Often in the forest. And there are flowers that are significant, too.
It's not all in the spring, but the parts that are are particularly time sensitive.
So I think I shall spend some time studying how the leaves come out and eventually shade the ground beneath them, and the flowers bloom in sequence.
Hmm -- there is a passage that can take several days in it -- it can only help. Spring flowers can follow fast on each other.
